Tim Haist is the Managing Partner of Pension Planning Consultants, Inc. (PPC), which joined U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners in October 2024.
Tim graduated from the University of Nebraska with a BA in business administration with an emphasis in actuarial science. He spent the next 13 years with Milliman and Robertson in Seattle learning the role of a consulting actuary. In 1991 he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and in 1992 bought Pension Planning Consultants, Inc., a small third-party administration and actuarial consulting firm.
Over the next 32 years, PPC grew organically and made a dozen acquisitions to become a regional leader in the administration and consulting business for qualified retirement plans.
Tim has been married for more than 35 years with three children, all of whom work in the firm.
Tim is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA. Tim is also a member of the Board of Faith Comes by Hearing.
