Jim Famularo joined U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners (USRBP) in March 2022 as Integration Project Manager. Jim has over 30 years’ experience leading multiple retirement service organizations.

Previously, Jim worked for CUNA Mutual group from 2013-2021 as vice president of Customer Service and Operations where he was responsible for all Retirement Service and Operations, integrating multiple organizations. He migrated over 8,000 employers to a new recordkeeping platform and lowered operating expenses by 40% while improving service. Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group, Famularo had a 25-year career starting with the Copeland Companies, which later became CitiStreet and then was purchased by ING. For part of this time, Famularo was chief financial officer of CitiStreet Equities, the broker/dealer affiliate of CitiStreet, LLC, which was the third largest recordkeeping company in the country at the time.

Over his career, Famularo has run every function within the retirement services industry and managed large clients in excess of $5 billion in assets. He has managed many organizational integrations, platform migrations, product development, business dispositions, internal control/anti-fraud best practices, and process improvements in his career. He has had executive oversight over micro, small, mid-market clients, and outsourcing arrangements in excess of 1.4 million participants and $40 billion in assets.

Jim attended Middlesex College and Rutgers University and has a degree in accounting. In addition, he has completed the six-sigma black belt certification and FINRA Financial Operations Principal designation. Famularo was a member of the Trust Services users group and participated in several SPARK committees.
