Patrick Bello Named Managing Partner, President of Kades-Margolis
Cofounder and Previous President Ed Margolis to Stay on as Executive Chairman
Iselin, NJ, November 15, 2023 – U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners (USRBP) announced today that Patrick Bello has been promoted to managing partner and president of its member firm, Kades-Margolis, a leading regional financial services and retirement planning organization primarily serving the education community in Pennsylvania.
Ed Margolis, Kades-Margolis cofounder, and former president will transition to the role of executive chairman to provide ongoing counsel to Bello and the business and step away from the oversight of the daily operation.
Bello will assume responsibility for Kades-Margolis, including the investment management subsidiary Kades-Margolis Capital, which will continue to be led by Jackie Rudolph, president of Kades-Margolis Capital, who will report to Bello.
“Since joining us in 2022, Pat has successfully partnered with Ed to lead the organization in pursuit of our shared growth goals and objectives,” said USRBP CEO Megan Schneider. “I am extremely confident that Kades-Margolis will thrive under Pat’s leadership, building on the important foundation of serving our educators that Ed successfully founded.”
“My decision to join Kades-Margolis last year has been validated at every step. The business model, value proposition, and long-standing relationships are phenomenal. Most impressive, however, are our associates and advisors. The ability to work with Ed this past year and his mentorship have been invaluable to my preparedness for this role,” said Bello.
“The most important objective is and has always been, a seamless and orderly transition with no disruption to our clients, associates, and partners. In bringing Pat on over a year ago and seeing his positive impact on the business, I am more than confident this will be achieved,” said Margolis.
Bello joined Kades-Margolis with more than three decades of impressive leadership experience within the financial services industry, working for CitiStreet, Voya, Mutual of Omaha, and Bank of America. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bethany College.
