Iselin, NJ, April 12, 2013—U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG), a division of U.S. Retirement Partners, announced today that it assisted Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) with obtaining a $15,000 donation from the Humana Foundation to help fund and publicize its 8th annual Fort Worth ISD District Walk.

The District Walk will take place on May 11th at all 13 FWISD high schools. Its purpose is to have students, employees, family, and community members experience the positive health benefits of walking.

Gene Tyler, a Managing Partner of USEBSG, presented the check to FWISD School Superintendent Walter Dansby on March 25th at the Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences, FWISD’s medical high school. Gene said, “We provide benefits to FWISD employees, some of them through Humana. So, it’s great to have one of our providers donate. The District Walk is a great way to reinforce the value of exercise to all who participate.”

“Last year Humana Foundation gave us $10,000 to help with publicity, bottled water, transportation, and promotional t-shirts,” said Superintendent Walter Dansby. He continued, “This year they have set the bar even higher to allow us to invite the entire Fort Worth community to participate in our District Walk.”
