Scott Witter is a transformational and strategic leader with over 25 years of experience in the retirement services industry, specializing in delivering exceptional customer experience through innovative technology. He joined U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners (USRBP) in October 2024 as the Chief Information Officer, where he oversees technology platform development and drives forward-thinking solutions for clients.
Prior to joining USRBP, Scott served as Senior Vice President and Head of Transformation for Corebridge Financial’s Retirement Services Division. In this role, Scott led transformative programs and projects, focusing on elevating client experiences across Retirement Services. His work included coordinating cross-functional efforts to achieve strategic goals and maintain industry leadership.
Scott also served as the CIO for AIG’s Individual Retirement, Institutional Market and Retirement Services organizations. In this role, he played an important part in the firm’s innovative technology and digital strategy, and overall cyber security efforts, working closely with the executive leadership team to create and execute on their strategic plans.
Prior to joining AIG in 2015, Scott served as Head of Insurance Practice for NEOS LLC. His previous roles also included Vice President – Strategic Initiatives and M&A Integration at Mass Mutual, and Chief Information Officer for Retirement Plan Group and Institutional Solutions Group at The Hartford.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has served on the SPARK – Data Security Oversight Board and was Co-Chair of the FS-ISAC – Retirement Industry Council.
