Iselin, NJ, July 1, 2015—U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group announced today that Robert F. McLean II, Vice President of its member firm, OMNI, was the moderator of a discussion panel on IRS audits at the 2015 NTSA 403(b) Summit held from June 28-30, 2015. Mr. McLean was selected by the NTSA Planning Committee to serve in this prestigious role leading a panel of three industry experts. The panel discussed how to help employer clients prepare for 403(b) and 457(b) audits, which have increased in frequency in 2015, including what the IRS looks for in plan operations and the top failures that are discovered.

In addition to being Vice President, Robert is also the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for OMNI where he oversees OMNI’s Compliance Department and handles all legal matters. His vast expertise has also made him a valuable resource for OMNI’s clients, their attorneys, investment providers, and at ASBO and NTSA industry events.

Robert commented, “I greatly appreciate having the opportunity to moderate the panel. The issues that were discussed are crucial to 403(b)/457 plan compliance and should serve as an important guide to many for plan operations moving forward.”

“Having assisted many of our clients over the years with IRS audits, OMNI was pleased to be a part of the NTSA’s session on this topic,” said Nina Rovinski, President and Chief Executive Officer of OMNI.
