Iselin, NJ, February 5, 2014—U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG), a division of U.S. Retirement Partners, announced today that it assisted Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) with obtaining a $10,000 donation from the Humana Foundation to help fund and publicize its Annual Fort Worth ISD District Walk.

The District Walk will take place on May 10th at all 13 FWISD high schools. Its purpose is to have students, employees, family, and community members experience the positive health benefits of walking.

Gene Tyler, a Managing Partner of USEBSG, presented the check to FWISD Deputy Superintendent Hank Johnson on January 29, 2014 at the FWISD Administration Building. Deputy Superintendent Johnson commented, “The more that you guys work with us, the more the community gets involved; the more the community gets involved, the better the education program gets.”

“The Humana Foundation looks for school districts to partner with to promote health and welfare. Hundreds of school districts were vying for this grant and FWISD has received it three years in a row,” said Gene Tyler.
