Randy Eschels owned Eschels Financial Group, Inc. (EFG) from 1993 until mid-2008, when the firm joined U.S. Retirement Partners. During that time he also was, and continues to be, the President of EFG, an independent financial services firm in Birmingham, MI, that specializes in retirement planning for educators.
Mr. Eschels started in the financial services industry in 1973 as an independent agent working primarily in the 403(b) marketplace. He has earned numerous industry awards and has served on the advisory boards of three different companies, and as the president of five Detroit-area financial services associations.
Mr. Eschels received a bachelor’s degree in business from Michigan State University, as well as the CLU and ChFC designations from the American College. He also earned the CFP designation from the College for Financial Planning. In addition to his many professional designations, he is a registered principal with FINRA.
