Ed Stringer co-founded SF&C Insurance Associates, Inc. in 1981. After running a successful chain of music stores, Ed decided to utilize his entrepreneurial skills in another industry where he could continue to make an impact in building relationships with people, while also helping them access insurance benefits for a reasonable cost.
The firm’s focus since its inception has been to offer quality, union member paid benefits through multiple convenient payment methods while offering the most flexible underwriting and pricing available. SF&C maintains its superior reputation it has built with both carriers and employer groups over these many years. This is validated not only by the numerous awards from carriers for both the company and its agents, but also by the fact that SF&C has never lost a union client group.
Ed strives to keep a true balance of work and family life, which is exactly what he tries to accomplish with the types of products and carriers he, the company, and the agents represent. Working as a Consultant to the businesses now, Ed has sharpened his focus towards new client acquisition as the company’s growth plans take course in 2017 and beyond.
