Iselin, NJ, December 21, 2016—U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG) is pleased to announce that the Pennsylvania Health & Welfare Fund has approved the continuation of recognizing our recently acquired Pennsylvania benefits firm, Hillendale Associates, Inc., as the sole endorsed firm to distribute the PSEA Voluntary Life and PSEA Voluntary Disability products. These valuable benefits are available to school district employees throughout the state of Pennsylvania to provide financial protection to themselves and their families.

The PSEA Health & Welfare Fund was created in 1979 by the Pennsylvania State Education Association.  The Fund is a not-for-profit organization formed to develop, market and service certain benefit plans that are tailored to the needs of PSEA members and other school district employees where PSEA is the recognized bargaining agent.  In addition to designing and marketing the benefit programs, collecting and processing the premiums from school districts and servicing the needs of participants, the Fund also monitors the performance of its third-party administrators and insurers to assure that the Fund members are receiving competent, cost effective service.  The Health and Welfare Fund is committed to providing competitive high-quality products to school district employees and individual members.

Paul Miller, Managing Partner for Hillendale Associates, oversees the employee benefit practice for PA and said, “We are proud that the PSEA Health & Welfare Fund chose to continue our relationship.  We look forward to bringing our unmatched statewide expertise and resources to the delivery of these competitive and valuable products.”

Joe Thayer, Benefits Manager for the PSEA Health & Welfare Fund commented on the continued endorsement, “The purchase of Hillendale by USEBSG adds additional value to an already strong endorsement. We look forward to working together to increase awareness of the PSEA life and disability insurance programs.  These programs deliver great value to school employees.”
